Letters Sent Home and Yours Truly take over The Dome in London!

The evening started off with Letters Sent home, a German alternative band that mixes pop-punk with rock, that have recently supported bands such as Honey Revenge on tour in Europe. I had been looking forward to seeing them since I first discovered their song ‘Request Denied’ on TikTok. Their music features lots of super catchy guitar riffs and melodies with heartfelt lyrics. They also have amazing stage presence and I thoroughly enjoyed ‘Sadists‘ as well which got the whole crowd moving.

Next up was Yours Truly, an Australian pop-punk band that has recently released their new album ‘Toxic’. I always find that Australian bands make the best music so I may be a bit biased, but their latest album has no skips. Starting with ‘Back 2 U’ before leading into ‘California Sober’, they had a very high energy performance putting all their emotions into their art. Lead singer, Mikaila Delgado blew me away with her vocals especially during ‘All That I’m Not’. Switching up the pace between ‘Love Feels Like’ and ‘Walk Over My Grave’ had the crowd in their feels before returning to moshing. The setlist included a majority of songs off ‘Toxic’ mixed with a few older singles from ‘is this what. Look like?’, their 2022 Album. One of my favourites of the evening was ‘Sinking’, it was even more heartfelt live! The evening ended on a high with ‘Call My Name’, a fan favourite that had everyone singing the lyrics back.

It was an amazing evening full of pop-punk hits from both bands and loads of energy from the crowd. Be sure to catch them on their upcoming European dates and then Yours Truly on their US tour with Enter Shikari and Australian tour with Thirty Seconds to Mars this fall! You won’t be disappointed.
