Olivia Dean announces Intimate UK tour in September

If you, like me, have been pulled into the world of Olivia Dean by a shiny-eyed friend humming OK Love you Bye a whole weekend, the following announcement is nothing short of divine timing.
After her debut album Messy transformed her into a Mercury Prize and BRIT Award nominee and reached millions of people from the stage of Glastonbury to London Stadium earlier this month, when she joined Sam Fender for a fresh rendition of Rein Me In, Olivia Dean is preparing to take her beautiful neo soul project back on tour.
The seven-date tour will prime and prepare the release of her second album, The Art of Loving, arriving on 26th September via Capitol Records. This tour will be intimate as each location will be at a record store and is, not surprisingly, already sold out.
The Art of Loving is a tender, intentional deep dive into the many dimensions of love - romantic, platonic, self, and everything in between. Her latest single Nice To Each Other “is a song about the push and pull of exploring your independence in dating. It’s about enjoying someone in the present and allowing it to be both light and meaningful. I think this song and video represents a playfulness in me that I’m excited for people to see.” The music video (directed by Jake Erland) is light and flowing, an apparent one-take on a soundstage being assembled and disassembled to her music.
